Influenza b has hit Jefferson County. Since last Monday (8 days) we’ve had 10 flu B reported (6 new ones today). That likely means there are many more with flu. Please use your illness exclusion policies to exclude students/children/staff with symptoms until fevers have resolved at least 24 hours before, without fever-reducing drugs and the children/teens are feeling well enough to sit though classes.
