This scholarship is given annually in his memory to a student who has faced significant life challenges and has persevered. ELIGIBILITY:
• An applicant must be a senior at a Helena, Townsend, Boulder, Lincoln, White Sulphur Springs or
Augusta, Montana school (PAL, Christian Schools and Home Schools are included) with a minimum 2.5
cumulative grade point average.
• For the second-year (Sophomore) award, the student must be a prior-year recipient currently in good
standing and re-enrolled for the Sophomore year of post-high school education.
Additionally, students must meet the following criteria:
• Have demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity.
• Have some history of paid or voluntary work experience.
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
