Scholarship Overview:
The Elkhorn Mountain Health Scholarship is designed to support students pursuing careers in the medical field. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a community college, EMT program, or a four-year college with a focus on healthcare. This scholarship aims to assist students who demonstrate financial need and a passion for making a difference in the medical field. The board owns the Taylor Medical Building where the Boulder Intermountain Clinic is located. We all want to promote healthcare and to help our students further their education in the medical field.
Award Component: The scholarship awarded will be for the amount of $2,500.
Eligibility Requirements:
Jefferson High School graduating senior.
Must be enrolling in a community college, EMT program, Dental hygienist/Dental School, or four-year college studying a healthcare-related field.
Must submit a one-page essay/letter addressed to the Board of Elkhorn Mountain Health.
Must demonstrate financial need.
Application Instructions:

A one-page essay/letter to the Board of Elkhorn Mountain Health, including:
Introduction: Share your background and personal story.
Area of Study: Describe your current educational path and career goals in the medical field.
Financial Need: Explain how this scholarship will help you achieve your educational and professional aspirations.
Proof of enrollment in a qualifying educational program.
Submission Deadline:
All application materials must be submitted by April 1, 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
Selection Process:
The Board of Elkhorn Mountain Health will review applications based on eligibility, essay content, and financial need. Recipients will be notified by April 30, 2025.
