Scholarship Overview:
This scholarship is designed to honor Corey’s life and to support students who share his passion for automotives, welding and other skilled trades, and to reduce the financial barrier posed by post-secondary education.
Award Components: The scholarship awarded will be in the amount of $5,000. The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the scholarship committee.
Eligibility Requirements:
* A graduating senior from Jefferson High School.
* Must complete the scholarship application form.
* Must submit a one-page essay.
* Must be enrolling in a trade/technical/vocational school.
Application Instructions:
To apply, Please submit the following materials:
1. Completed scholarship application form.
2. Responses to the following questions:
* Introduction: Share your background and personal story.
* What are your future plans?
* What have you done for your community?
* Financial need: How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?
* Will you complete your goals while remaining substance free?
3. Proof of enrollment or acceptance into a qualifying education institution (if available).
Submission Deadline:
All application materials must be submitted by April 20th, 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
Selection Process:
The scholarship committee will review applications based on eligibility, essay content, financial need, and commitment to remain drug/alcohol free. Recipients will be notified by May 15th, 2025.
