Jefferson High School District #1 is looking for substitute teachers for the 2021-2022 school year.
General Qualifications: Jefferson High School District #1 seeks a superintendent who possesses skills in instructional leadership including curriculum design and assessment, supervision and evaluation, data analysis, and professional development design. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Montana school finance and budget development, effective written and oral communication methods, and embrace technological advancements. The District wants a person who enjoys working with teenagers, is energetic, an effective student disciplinarian, and the ability to handle board and community relations. A sense of humor is required!
Academic Qualifications: ~ Masters in Educational Leadership or related field
~ Experience as a High School Principal
~ Superintendent experience preferred
~ 3-5 years of high school teaching experience
~ Montana Superintendent and Principal Certificate
or eligibility to obtain
~ Applicant must be able to meet the qualifications
for appropriate Montana Certification

Job Description: Jefferson High School, in Boulder, MT, seeks a caring, collaborative, and enthusiastic individual to work alongside our teachers delivering high quality one-to-one instruction to students for the 2022-23 school year.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least two years of college, and can demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and math. Previous experience in a school setting working with students receiving special education services is desirable. The position is about 32 hours per week during the regular school year, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 4:06. Pay range for the position depends upon experience.
